Oliver Huntemann has been an inspiration since back in the day where we haven’t even focused on techno, yet. After the electro/mash up parties we’d have the after-after parties in places like hotel rooms or where ever there was an option to connect equipment and continue playing.
During these parties all the minimal, deep house and techno gems came out of the bag, which wasn’t very popular in California. Our usual crowd wasn’t ready for it back then. I’m personally glad to have made the move from the US to Germany. Now these private techno parties are the main event!
This is what this set, uploaded by radio intense, and most of the other sets we post remind me of. Techno fans don’t have to hide 🙂
If you have any cool live sets we should check out, please drop us a line via email or social media.
It’s release day here at Dubhaus Records. We are happy to see Sono & Ray release their very first track out into the world. These duo has been hustling to get ahead by playing one show after another. We sincerely hope that we are able to help them get booked even better gigs in the future with this release out.
Give it a listen. It’s out on Beatport now and will be available at all the other online retailers in two weeks!
The music fades behind you. You’re walking through a hallway towards the exit. It’s been a long night… unforgettable even.
It’s that time of day, again. The sun is rising but the city is still asleep. The music keeps circulating in your mind. A driving tune with a rhythm you just can’t shake.
It takes you on a minimal techno journey, no matter whether you take a cab, the subway or are walking. The entire world around you bows down to the rhythm in your head.
It’s Wednesday again! And it didn’t take long for us to find this groovin’ tech set by Dubfire. The crowd is loving it.
It’s always nice to see the people appreciate the music they came to see. Nothing is worse than a cool set with a cold crowd.
So to get right to the point, presenting our Midweek Thump: Dubfire at the Solar Dance Arena in Bulgaria.
If you would like to get one of your live sets featured just give us a ring… a social media ring of course 🙂
It’s wednesday again (still in some parts of the world) and time for another featured mix. This time around we found this mix by Function. When we first heard this is sort of brought us back to techno days from the past. Driving and at a faster pace but yet monotone enough to have it playing as a back drop to everything else that’s going on here.
On My Own is available now exclusively on Beatport.com for the next two weeks. After that it will move onto iTunes, Spotify and so on.
We are very excited to see that this track has already gotten some great responses from the techno community.
Our Instagram community is also growing rapidly. We started about a week or two ago and are already at almost 50 followers. We had no idea how tight knit and supportive the techno, tech house, deep house community really was.
Much respect to all of you and thanks for all the support!
“After concentrating on establishing a network following his move from the United States back to his native Germany, Thomas Radman finally gave himself the time and peace to create something new.
“On My Own” depicts the sometimes monotone and lonely road of huge life changing events. At the same time keeping a rhythmic groove that chugs along, just like one has to do him- or herself when facing and overcoming new situations in life.
The move to Germany has left its mark. The usual high energy electro sound from the states, Thomas Radman is known for, makes room for a slightly dark and Berlin underground inspired Techno ensemble bordering on Techhouse… two directions he is looking forward to exploring further in the near future.”
